This Doesn’t Work Without Women

Everyone sees the kids.
The goals. The drills. The games on the weekend.
Some people see the coaches too, but almost no one sees what actually holds all of it together.

Because the truth is… this doesn’t work without WOMEN!

The Part People Get Wrong

You can walk around most youth sports environments and see how it’s framed. Coaches are mostly men. Leadership is mostly men. And on the surface, it looks like dads are the ones driving the experience. That’s the story people tell themselves.

Because behind the scenes, quietly and consistently, there’s another layer doing the real work. Not for credit. Not for recognition. Just because it needs to get done.

You Can’t Outwork a Missing Ecosystem

I can do a lot on my own such as Coach sessions, Organize teams, Build programs, and Show up.
NONE of that matters if the ecosystem isn’t there. And at 703 Warriors, our system is powered by women.

None of this is loud, but all of it is essential!

What the Kids Are Really Learning

The kids may not say it out loud, but they see it. They see who shows up. Who organizes. Who leads. Who cares. They see strength that doesn’t need to announce itself. They see what leadership actually looks like in real life. And that shapes how they move through the world.

This Month, We Say It Out Loud

Not as a formality. Not as a post. Not as a box to check, because it’s the truth. This works because of you and we don’t take that lightly! If we’re serious about access, about community, about changing what youth sports can look like… then we have to be honest about who is actually doing the work.

At 703 Warriors, we don’t just celebrate women during Women’s Month. We build with them. Every single day.
